At the Airport

1. Check in timings

*Opening time
• International flights: counters are opened 2 hours 30 minutes before STD
• Domestic flights: counters are opened 2 hours before STD

*Closing time
• International flights: counters are closed 40 minutes before STD
• Domestic flights: counters are closed 30 minutes before STD

*STD: Scheduled Time of Departure.
Due to potential traffic delays, check-in times and security screening,  you are recommended to be at the airport at least 60 minutes before departure of domestic flights and 120 minutes before departure of international flights

2. Customs:

According to Vietnam laws, passengers are expected to declare the following:
• Gold, if over 300 grams;
• Vietnam Dong, if over VND15,000,000. Other currency, if value exceeds USD7,000;
• Temporarily imported and re-exported goods or vice versa.
Passengers are given duty free allowance for:
• Not more than 1.5 liters of liquor with above 22 degrees of concentration of alcohol and 2 liters of liquor below 22 degrees; 400 cigarettes; 100 cigars; 500 grams of raw tobacco;
• Other items which are allowed in accompanying baggage with value not exceeding VND5,000,000;
Passengers bringing goods exceeding the amount stated are required to fill in the declaration form No.HQ/2002-PMD and pay duty(ies) according to Vietnamese laws.

3. Airport tax

Vietnam Flights - International flights: Airport tax is included in the ticket price
Flights in Vietnam - Domestic flights: Airport tax is included in the ticket price

4. Business lounge

• Vietnam Airlines offers Business lounge services to VIP, Business Class passengers, Golden Lotus Plus Platinum membes, Gold members of Vietnam Airlines at all stations we are flying to. The First Class passengers, Business Class passengers and Skyteam Elite Plus Card members of Skyteam member airlines will be offered this service in Noi Bai and Tan Sơn Nhat Airport.

5. Lost & Found counter

Passengers who have lost baggage can contact the Lost & Found counter of Vietnam Airlines at the airport:
