Aircraft Information

Vietnam Airlines is operating it own fleet with following crafts:

1. Boeing 777

With more than 300 seats, B777 provides services to and from Europe, Australia, Northeast Asia and domestic routes.
Vietnam Airlines has 5 Boeing 777's.

2. Airbus 330

The modern A330 fleet with 245 seats serving flights to and from North East Asia, the Middle East, Australia and domestic routes. Vietnam airlines operates 5 of these to meet the demands of travellers.

3. Airbus 320/321

The perfect modern aircraft for South East Asia and Hong Kong, China and domestic. Airbus 320/321 has a 160~180 seating capacity. This is the most widely used aircraft in Vietnam Airlines fleet with 10 of them.

4. Fokker 70

For trans-Indochina and local flights, Vietnam Airlines operates 6 Fokker 70's with 78 seats each.

5. ATR 72

Similar to the Fokker 70, the ATR 72 is mostly used for convenient trans-Indochina and Vietnam local destinations; 64 seats each with a total of 10 crafts.

6. Airbus 350-900

Vietnam Airlines has ordered the second largest airplane produced by Airbus. This is the new generation of aircraft with the innovative technology of Airbus. The fleet will be delivered between 2014 to 2020.

7. Boeing 787

This will be largest airplane and bring Vietnam Airlines into international standard and become a permier international airline.
Vietnam Airlines aims to increase its fleet to 115 crafts by 2015.
